due to the variety of events, I missed the tenth anniversary of my website in September 2009. Now it's online for eleven years. Time passes by really fast. I remember my beginnings, then this website looked a bit different.

For all the time of these ten years my website stayed with my provider, Rainer Kilian on the webspace of URON. For ten years I have had a provider with a perfect service, no downtime, no ads, my website was good and secure online, safe and always accessible. It's really hard to say Goodbye to you, Rainer. Thank you so much for your perfect service, your great long-term support. Thanks for all. You have done a great job and I will really miss you.

As you know, I hold on excellent freeware programs for many years, which I am presenting you from time to time on my website. Free is the offer of  [PHCN], a relatively new group of people who provide 1GB webspace for free without advertising. This service is based on the fair-usage principle, a very fair offer expecting a fair way of dealing with it. The offer is written in English, its subject belongs to German law.

It's unpossible to update a website of several hundred pages within a few days, I also don't currently have the time to do that. Therefore, the E-mail address specified in the meta tags will soon no longer be true. Please see my valid E-mail address at my imprint. A full update of my pages will be done as soon as possible.

The last years I spent a lot of time on Support-Forums to help users to clean up their systems from malware. Hundreds of reports, tutorials, tips & tricks can be read. You can also find me back under my second nickname Ruby on Derek's forum "The Spykiller". I tried to help users in English and german language to clean up their machines from malware. Of course I would like to go on writing Tutorials, Tips & Tricks, Security-News and more.... The freedom on the Internet is cut by the producers of malware, finding their victims in innocent users. To help malware-victims was one of my tasks on the Internet for a very long time. I liked this work, it was great to be able to help others, but it took a very lot of time. One of our reasons to help others to clean up their machines on The Spykiller is Derek's Epping Forest Hedgehog Rescue. Derek and his wife Sandra care for hurt hedgehogs, trying to keep them alive. They treated almost 700 hedgehogs in the last 3 years and all this costs a lot of money and time. Derek can't remember a time in the last few years when he hasn't had any hogs in care and he has been spending 18-20 hours a day just looking after hogs, feeding babies and cleaning boxes, cages etc. Both spend their own money for hedgehogs which are injured by strimmers and lawnmowers. Even though I am not currently active, I support Derek's initiative. We do hope to get some donations for our help on the Internet by cleaning up systems from malware for Epping Forest Hedgehog Rescue.
